PJ Production designs and manufactures solutions for external monitors, tailored to your specific needs and requirements.
The design is based on two types of aluminum profiles, which can be seen in the image on the right. The numerous combination possibilities allow for configurations with two, four, or eight monitors – or a completely customized setup to meet your specific needs.
Furthermore, these combinations can be used for both computer monitors and TV screens. In other words, the possibilities are endless, and you are always welcome to contact us for a consultation so we can find the best solution for you together.
Foruden de mange kombinationsmuligheder kan skærmløsningerne også monteres på forskellige måder. De mest anvendte løsninger er:
1. DESK CLAMP
The monitor solution is secured with a clamp that grips the edge of the desk. This option is recommended for setups with up to four monitors.
2. THROUGH-DESK MOUNT
A hole of at least 10 mm is drilled into the desk, allowing the mounting bracket to pass through and be securely fastened. This ensures a stable solution, particularly for multi-monitor setups.
3. WALL MOUNT
The aluminum profile is screwed directly into the wall, maximizing desk space and creating a clean, uncluttered workspace.
4. ACTUATOR
This solution provides maximum flexibility, allowing the monitors to be adjusted up and down electronically. It is ideal for shared workstations where screen height needs to be quickly adapted to individual users.
The main fire station in Copenhagen houses most of the administrative functions of the Capital Region's Emergency Services, and this requires significant administration. Additionally, there is a large number of external screens – in some cases, up to eight per employee.
To ensure the optimal screen setup, we collaborated with Kinnarps, architect Charlotte Wegener and of course Copenhagen Fire Stationheadquarters of the Capital Region’s Emergency Services.
When setting up multiple external screens, it is crucial to ensure stability while meeting ergonomic requirements and allowing for adjustment and flexibility. Architect Charlotte Wegener has also focused on creating clean surfaces, hiding cables, and concealing underlying electronic equipment. At the same time, she has managed to retain elements that maintain the feel of being in a fire station – such as fire hydrants.
MONITOR SETUP
The employees’ screens are a custom solution designed based on the RACK product. The key components of the design are aluminum profiles that provide stability. Each screen is mounted with tilt brackets and extension arms, allowing for adjustment as needed.
A part of the Copenhagen Fire Station’s custom solution includes screens mounted at an angled position beneath the desks. These too are part of the RACK system.
Copenhagen’s Main Fire Station is the headquarters of the Capital Region’s Emergency Services and is located on the small street Bag Rådhuset, behind Copenhagen City Hall. The fire station was designed by Ludvig Fenger and was put into use in 1892.
As a fire station, it covers an area bounded by Inderhavnen, Dannebrogsgade, Vester Søgade, Gothersgade, Store Kongensgade, and Esplanaden. In addition, the Capital Region’s Emergency Services operates six more fire stations throughout the City of Copenhagen.
